Shepardsville is an unincorporated census-designated place in northeastern Fayette Township, Vigo County, Indiana, in the United States. ==Fire Protection==
Though Fayette Township has a fire protection district, (New Goshen) Fire protection for the town of Shepardsville is still handled by the Shepardsville Fire Department. The Department is currently ran by: Fire Chief Jeff VanLannen, Asst. Chief Cory Stamper, Capt. Joe Inman, Capt. Chad Mize, Lt. Chris Williams, and Lt. Steve Williams.
